Located in the peaceful village of Melides, Casa Boa is a bakery that is also a cafe, a deli, and a wine shop.

It’s where to go to enjoy good bread, coffee and wine.

A place inspired by the old Portuguese ‘padarias’, strongly marked by an attentive and familiar service.

A house open to the whole community, where every single product, from the artisanal bread to the cheese, the charcuterie, the honey, the olive oil, or the wine, is good.

Born from the ideas, conversations, and desires of two families, the project became a reality when fate provided the perfect opportunity: in the village center, right in the main square, a beautiful two-story building of traditional Portuguese architecture, once a local tavern, became available for purchase after years of abandonment. Together, the families decided to embrace the occasion and create what they had been longing for: Casa Boa.

Rooted in the heart of the village, this is a place to shop, to eat, and to reconnect with friends, perfect for having breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon drink, or asking for a recommendation from the lovely person behind the counter. Like all homes in Portugal, Casa Boa welcomes everyone, providing the local community and visitors alike with high-quality produce and personalised service, year-round, together with a friendly ‘bom dia.’
