Casa Boa

Located in the peaceful village of Melides, Casa Boa is a bakery that is also a cafe, a deli, and a wine shop. A place inspired by the old Portuguese ‘padarias’, strongly marked by a familiar and personalized service. A house open to the whole community, where every single product, from the artisanal bread to the cheese, the charcuterie, the honey, the olive oil, or the wine, is good. Simple as that.
Born from the ideas, conversations, and desires of two families, the project became a reality when fate decided to provide the perfect opportunity: in the village center, right in the main square, a beautiful two-story building of traditional Portuguese architecture, once a local tavern, became available to be purchased, after years of abandonment. Together, the families decided to embrace the occasion and create what they have been longing for: Casa Boa.
